On the 29th
of May /2015 I had attended in our regular class (3rd) on the
12th floor at the computer lab of BRAC University. The class was attended in a regular air
conditioned classroom with other essential facilities like multimedia projector, whiteboard, marker,
duster, teacher’s desk and chairs etc. In
that particular class we have learnt how to provide/ give feedback on online
reading, about Wikipedia and a bit about other sites like AWL, COCA, Hot potato
etc. This is the first time we chat for the online reading. It was very
interesting but I didn’t join in time because internet speed had been very slow
in my computer so I had to share with one of my classmates. However, we had a
guest teacher that day and he shared his own experience about writing in
Wikipedia and also gave suggestions how can we proceed. His voice inspired us
very much. Last class we did a lot of fun also. We celebrated our teacher’s birthday
with cake and took photographs also. The teacher is a guide/
facilitator/ mentor, who allow the students natural curiosity to direct their
learning and interaction.
